Freeze Game
Wiggle, move around, shake, stomp, or dance until you say, “Freeze!” Once everyone stops moving, pay close attention to the sensations that you feel in your body. Repeat as often as you would like. Add music for more fun.
Five Senses Scavenger Hunt
If you are outside and want to take a mindful minute, take a break and notice all of your five senses.
- Listen. Name one thing that you hear when you listen with your ears.
- Look. Name one thing that catches your attention when you look around.
- Smell. Name a scent that you notice when you take a sniff with your nose.
- Touch. Name an object that you enjoy feeling with your hands.
- Taste. What do you taste in your mouth? Did you have a snack recently or take a drink? Describe if the taste is salty or sweet.
