Renae Cartwright, Middle School Science
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year!
This is my 12th year teaching Middle School Science with the Cloverleaf Enrichment Program.
My name is Renae Cartwright and I have been teaching science for 25+ years. I taught 6-8 grade in Texas, K-8 with Clover Leaf (formerly HOPE), and middle school science online with COVA-Colorado Virtual Academy for 7 years, and am starting in my 12th year with Cloverleaf. I am so excited to be in the classroom with the students! I went to Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I am from Houston, TX, but we have lived in Castle Rock for 20 years. I am married to Chad and have 3 kids—Cayleigh, and twins Claire, and Randall. Cayleigh is a traveling oncology nurse and currently works in Palo Alto, CA Claire is a Marketing Strategist for Disney Springs and lives in Orlando. Randall is a Tax Accountant and lives in Waco, TX.. I have 2 cats that we adopted from the Buddy Center. Rudy is 4 years old and is a tuxedo cat. Remy is 2 years old and is solid gray. I love running half marathons, reading, animals, traveling, science, and middle school students!
The year is divided into four quarters and we will be studying a different facet of science each quarter: Life Science, Earth Science, Scientific Investigation, and Physical Science.
Students will complete a science fair project this year with a science fair/middle. school EXPO in March.
We are going to have fun this year in science! Are you ready?
