Amanda Leverson, Social Studies

I love teaching social studies at Cloverleaf!  I joined the Cloverleaf team in January of 2019 and am so glad to be part of this community! Before teaching at Cloverleaf, I taught middle school special education and general education classes in language arts, social studies, math, and science. My husband and I have five children ages 18 and under, so our days are full of activity and family time, and we LOVE it! I feel very blessed to have the privilege of teaching your children. Thank you for sharing them with me!

In social studies, we will explore a variety of topics, themes, and time periods. It is my goal to help your child grow in their collaboration and problem-solving skills as they examine the world around them, both past and present. 

For the 2024-25 school year, we will cover the following units:

  • Geography (with a special focus on Colorado)

  • Holidays Around the World

  • Exploring History Through Drama

  • National Parks
